Elite Entertainment's COVID-19 Policy
Before anything else, I completely understand the additional stress and complexity this situation adds to wedding planning. We’re here to address your fears, questions, and our role within it. We promise to work with you as best we can. Our goal in creating this post is to provide you with information you need to re-evaluate your plan in these troubling times.
I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy above all. I sympathize with anyone affected by COVID-19 and its resulting economic fallout. Additionally, I recognize these are trying times producing uncertain outcomes for society’s most cherished traditions – weddings. Take a deep breath and consider this: Once this passes, the current hardship you’re facing will help you appreciate your special day all the more.
We, unfortunately, are not able to reschedule for prime 2021 dates free of charge. To be clear, we are not attempting to profit from this situation in any way and highly encourage our clients to reschedule for the dates offered, free of charge. Being a small business, we rely on our prime dates to generate predictable revenue, keep our doors open, and our families fed. For those reasons, we are not able to sustain the loss of prime dates without charging a reschedule fee. That being said, we also understand that you may want to choose a prime date for your event, so we are doing our best to accommodate our couples while keeping our small business going. Again, we in no way want to profit or penalize our clients for rescheduling. We are doing our best to strike a balance between doing right by our clients and keeping our business alive.
Our Rescheduling Policy
- There is no fee for rescheduling weddings originally scheduled on or before June 30th, 2020 for available dates up until April 30th, 2021. This policy only applies to reschedules that are a direct result of the COVID-19 government-mandated restrictions.
- If the wedding day will be taking place as scheduled, or you are rescheduling your wedding within the above-stated parameters, your final payments will still be due on their originally contracted dates. As usual, our automated system sends out reminders as those dates come close.
- Some people are losing their jobs or are on limited hours due to the virus, and as such, payments may become a problem. If you have been affected in this way, please reach out and we will do our best to set up a payment plan or figure out a solution that will work best for both of us going forward.
This pandemic is extremely difficult for all of us; we are in this just as much as you are. We will work our hardest to treat you right and create a compromise in your best interest. That said, we are also working with other families and juggling the needs and concerns of many. Please be patient with us and know that we’re working tirelessly for you.
Also, know that a large portion of the costs associated with our service are date-specific, meaning our expenses related to the day of your wedding takes place. If we postpone your wedding day, we lose our ability to schedule anything else that day. To us, this is worth it because we put our clients first.
To begin the rescheduling process, e-mail us as soon as possible with a list of preferred alternative dates. All the uncertainty this issue has caused puts everyone in a vulnerable place. Unfortunately, we are no exception and want to face that vulnerability head-on with transparency and clarity.
If you have questions specific to your event and have not already spoken with us, don’t hesitate to reach out. We will be happy to give our opinion on potential options and recommend amazing event coordinators to help with the added complexity.
We’re deeply grateful to have wonderful customers.
